Klive Beach Club General Terms and Conditions

Payment (online or in person) or entry at Klive Beach Club constitutes acceptance of all Klive Beach Club Bali terms and conditions, guests acknowledge and agree to all of the following terms and conditions:

  1. Operating Hours: Daily 10am to 10pm
  2. Walk-in, Booking & Reservations: you are welcome to walk-in at any time but booking in advance is recommended. Please note waiting time at Klive entrance can be long especially during peak season. We do our best to organize our reception spaces as comfortably as possible but we cannot guarantee shaded areas at waiting points.

    2.1 Online bookings must be paid in full in advance at the time of booking.
    2.2 All prices are in Indonesian Rupiah and subject to government taxes and service charges 2.3 We are not responsible and cannot guarantee foreign currencies conversion rates at the time of payment, those (and any other fees) are regulated by your financial institutions.
    2.4 After completing your online booking you will receive a confirmation; this reservation confirmation must be provided at your arrival together with the credit card and ID details used for your booking. If the guest is not able to show the credit card and ID used for the booking, Klive will refund the payment and request a new payment (and documents) on the spot. If you cannot present booking confirmation or valid ID the reservation will be denied and no refunds will be provided.
    2.5 Confirmed booking cannot be canceled or refunded, refunds will be processed ONLY if the venue is closed for private events or a special event is canceled for a reason attributable to Klive beach club
    2.6 The reservation gives you right to choose your favorite area or bed, although, Klive reserves the right to relocate guests or groups according to internal needs or because of unforeseeable events. The guest will be relocated to an area/bed on the same value of their booking where possible, in case of unavailability of similar areas/value, a different area will be proposed, and the value difference will be credited towards guests F&B spending.
    2.7 Walk-in guests will be shown the available areas/bed and related costs, once guest confirms their choice, we cannot change the guest position/area/bed/chair.
    2.8 Bookings will be held for 30 minutes after your chosen time, after that we consider your booking a no-show and no refund will be processed.

  3. Mimimum spend, fees and balances: different minimum spending applies according to your area or bed of choice. An amenities fee of IDR250,000++ is charged to every guest. Any balance of your minimum spending (minus entry fee) will be credited towards food and drinks you can order in the venue. If you decide to leave and you still have credit balance, we will not refund the balance. E.g. you choose an area with a minimum spend of IDR1,000,000, your F&B balance will be IDR750,000 (IDR1,000,000 – entry fee IDR250,000). If you order food and drinks for IDR500,000 and decide to leave we will not refund the balance of IDR250,000.
  4. Payment Methods: we accept all major credit cards and bank transfer. Please note we consider your payment successful ONLY when we can reflect the payment in our bank account in real time. Payment/Transfer receipts will not be accepted as payment proof. We accept cash payments ONLY in Indonesian Rupiah, Klive staff is not allowed to exchange foreign currencies. In particular cases, we might accept payment in foreign currencies (US$, €, AU$) but the change will be given ONLY in Indonesian Rupiah; we will communicate exchange rates in advance which must be accepted by the guest.
  1. Age requirement, kids, drinking age limit: Klive is an adult oriented beach club, we strongly recommend not coming to Klive with kids below 15 years old. Being on a cliff, the club could be hazardous for children. Children (below 18 years old) must be always supervised by an adult. Supervision of children is the sole responsibility of the parent/guardian. Klive is not responsible for supervision of children or injury or damage that occurs on the premises from a result of children not being supervised. Children always remain the responsibility of a parent who is expected to ensure that they act in a reasonable manner without causing undue disturbance to other guests. Klive ́s swimming pool is strictly adults only/no kids allowed.

    5.1 The legal drinking age in Indonesia is 21 years. Klive may request photo ID to show proof of age at any time.
    5.2 Alcoholic beverages will not be served to persons under 21 years.
    5.3 We might allow entry only to 21 years old and above guests during special events

    5.4 Klive Beach Club reserves the right to deny entry to guest below 18 years old at any time

  2. Dress Code and Tattoo policy: Klive Beach Club does not really implement a strict dress code, although the management reserves the right to refuse entry if deemed not decent. Smart casual dress is suggested. No sport or alcohol brand Jerseys of any kind are permitted.
  3. Conduct of Guests: Klive Beach Club has ZERO TOLERANCE policy for wrong behavior that affects the enjoyment of other guest and our staff. For no reason and under no circumstances guests are allowed to:
  • verbally or physically abuse staff members or any other person/guest.
  • interrupt Klive Beach Club normal operations
  • Take any type of action that could put yourself or others in danger.
  • Damage any part of Klive property.
  • Be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Carry prohibited items (weapons of any kind, drugs etc.)
  • Outside food and drinks are not permitted into the premises.

If guests engage in any of the above (any other action considered non-compliant), Klive staff and security will immediately ask the guest to leave the premises (after payment of balance if any), if guests refuses to leave or act unruly, Klive staff will immediately contact the local police.

  1. Property damages and L&F: guests are liable for any repairs or replacement of any Klive Beach Club facilities damaged by them, whether accidentally or intentionally. Klive is not responsible for lost customer properties, we implement a procedure for lost and found items and keep it in a safe until the owner is found. If after 7 days we have no request of said items from guests/owner (with proof of ownership), we will dispose of any found items (except documents that will be handed over to the local police station). Klive is not responsible for any customer damaged properties, it is the customer responsibility to always keep his/her properties at hand and safe.
  2. Accessibility: Klive Beach Club is not wheelchair accessible due to its structure and position on a cliff.
  3. Pets policy: NO pets or any animals are permitted into Klive premises
  4. Smoking: smoking is permitted ONLY in designated areas and in the presence of an ashtray. Zero tolerance smoke policy areas are present and marked in the premises. Even in smoking permitted areas, the guest is obliged to carefully dispose of cigarettes butts to avoid fire hazard and nuisance to other guests (e.g. ash flying around, smell etc.). We require our guest collaboration to ensure their smoking does not disturb other guests. Klive staff might ask guests to dispose their cigarettes at any time.
  5. Wifi: Klive beach club provides free Wi-Fi to all guests, we do not have direct control over the quality of connection, and we cannot be held responsible for any issue related to internet connection, including but not limited to loss of data. We strongly suggest not using our free Wi- Fi for online purchases, bank transactions or any other important matter. Usage of Klive free Wi- Fi is subject to Indonesian laws and regulation, any breach of said regulations will be reported to local authorities.
  1. Security: Klive Beach Club is monitored 24h with CCTV, by entering our premises you agree to be subject to public recording. The recordings are kept ONLY for security reason and deleted after a reasonable amount of time, recordings can only be accessed by local authorities in case of crime or misconduct. Klive Beach Club is monitored by security team, the team is present for all guest safety, and they are authorized to ask any guest that does not adhere to conduct policies to leave the premises. Your bags and belongings will be checked upon entering our premises, any item deemed not permitted will be labeled and held by security until you leave the premises. If you refuse security check or directions, you might be denied entry into Klive Beach Club.
  2.  Safety: our premises have been created respecting all safety regulations but the nature of our structure (cliff, stairs, water, rocks and so on) requires all customer to be careful at all times. Guests using the swimming pool do so at their own risk and responsibility.
    Lifeguard instructions and signed directions must be followed at all times. Klive staff reserves the right to take any necessary action to correct any person actions who does not follow directions causing danger to themselves or others.

    No guest shall be allowed near the pool or beach area during a thunderstorm or lightning. Persons with sores, other evidence of skin diseases or wearing bandages of any kind will not be permitted to use the pool.
    No metal or glass articles, large inflatable toys or toys of a hazardous nature will be permitted in the pool area.
    Only experienced swimmers should swim in the deep end of the pool.
    Klive Beach Club shall not be responsible for any injury, death or illness or any loss or damage in the Klive Beach Club facility whatsoever/howsoever caused; sustained or incurred out of, or in any way connected with the use whether proper or otherwise, of any area in our premises, whether defective or otherwise.
    Klive beach club offers free water sports at the beach, the usage of klive ́s water sport equipment is regulated by our team members and lifeguard, Klive ́s guest must follow given instructions at all times for their safety. Klive Beach club cannot be held responsible for any accident happening to guest while using water sports equipment or while swimming at sea.

  3. Areas and Beds: when pre-booking or walk-in into our premises, you will be able to choose different areas, beds, chairs, and available spaces. Each area or furniture chosen have different capacity, prices and related services. We might, from time to time, change the layout of our premises and we will always update this in our website and at our reception area.

    Each area/sit/bed chosen have a capacity for a certain number of guests (e.g. a chair can accommodate 1 guest, some daybed can accommodate 4 guests, single bed can accommodate 1 guests etc.) Requests to accommodate more people than stated for each area or furniture chosen (e.g. 6 guests on a bed for 4 guests) will be evaluated each time, Klive decision is final. Different minimum spends applies for different areas, if a lower number of guests decide to book an area with higher capacity, they will need to pay the full amount as stated for each area minimum capacity (e.g. daybed for 6 people with a minimum occupancy of 4 guest, booked by a group of 3 guest, you will be required to pay the minimum spend for 4 people).

  5. Rain and Tides: Klive Beach Club reserve the right to ask all guest to move to different areas according to weather; the access to the beach will be subject to weather and tides condition. No refunds can be processed in the event of thunderstorm or any other natural occurrence.
  6. Food and Allergy: while our Chef works on menus to accommodate as many requests as possible, we cannot guarantee halal certified food. It is the guest responsibility to indicate any possible allergy/intolerance to any of the ingredients contained in our menu. The customer is aware that if they suffer from a very specific or heavy form of allergy, they should state it immediately to our staff and ensure the staff fully understood. The customer should be aware that cross-contamination can occur in a commercial kitchen even when precautionary measures are taken.
  1. Luggage storage: we do not provide luggage or bags storage space. The customer is responsible for his/her belongings at all times while in our premises.
  2. Parking: Klive Beach Club customer can use the club parking free of charge, we have dedicated team taking care of our parking space but Klive beach club cannot be held responsible for any damage occurred while guests vehicle are parked at Klive free parking space (e.g. another guest hit a vehicle while driving in or out of parking)
  3. Photos and Videos: Klive Beach Club regularly captures photos and videos of our venue during operational hours. These images and footage are used exclusively for marketing purposes and may be shared on various platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. By reserving a seat or entering Klive Beach Club, you grant us permission to utilize any footage in which you may appear. If you would like any specific footage removed from our channels, please contact us at [marketing@klivebeachclub.com], and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.
  4. Disclaimer: Klive Beach Club, or Klive and/or the Operator shall not be responsible for any injury, death or illness or any loss or damage to property whatsoever/ howsoever caused, sustained, or incurred out of, or in any way connected with the use, whether proper or otherwise, of any of the Klive Beach Club Facility, whether defective or otherwise. Specifically, it is an ongoing condition of entry that all guests understand and accept:

    -By entering our premises, you accept the inherent risks of possible injury or harm associated with activities at our beach club and the inherent risks associated with any activity in or near water
    – We will not be liable for any personal injury or loss where negligence cannot be attributed to the owners and operators of Klive Beach Club.

    – All personal belongings are solely the guest’s responsibility. Klive takes no responsibility for lost, damaged or stolen items.
    – Agree that all and any medical or hospitalization charges necessary will be entirely for guests account and not be the responsibility of Klive Beach Club.
    – Release Klive irrevocably from any and all personal and corporate liability claims.

The agreement is made in the Republic of Indonesia and shall be governed by and constituted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes will be settled in Bali, Indonesia. Guest Payment (whether online or in person) constitutes acceptance of all Klive Beach Club terms and conditions.

Upon entry to any Klive Beach Club venue, guests acknowledge and agree to all the above terms and conditions.
